Stirling Range Retreat offers Hidden Treasure Eco Tours all year round. From 15th August through to 31st October, we invite you to celebrate spring in the National Heritage listed Stirling Range National Park on a Hidden Treasures Orchid and Wildflower Tour. Discover the splendour of our local bird life on a Hidden Treasure Dawn or Dusk Bird Walk from mid September to 31st October. From mid September to 31 October, the one and a half hour Hidden Treasure Bird Walks depart from the Stirling Range Retreat's office daily at 8am and 3pm. Binoculars can be provided on request. More than 80 bird species have been recorded for Stirling Range Retreat, including the rare Crested Shrike-tit and Carnaby's Black-cockatoo. Bush birds show off their stunning breeding plumage in spring, and the conserved environment in both the Retreat and the adjacent Stirling Range National Park provide habitat and nesting sites for a large variety of species.
