6-15th Paperartzi Art Event Various Venues 98428419

Paperartzi is all about paper and art. 13 highly regarded Perth based artists and 16 local (Great Southern) artists have been selected to take part. They will exhibit innovatve 2D and 3D contemporary works in which paper is a key ingredient. Music, drama and performance art are also part of the program. Kyoko Ibe, an internationally renowned Japanese artist will be coming from Kyoto to exhibit and run a 2 day workshop. The event links to the important local industry of bluegum plantations and the export of woodchips to Japan.

22nd-25th Anzac Memorial Services Various Venues 98419290

Various events will be held from the 22nd to 25th April including - 22nd April Camp Quaranup Grave Site Service - a pilgrimage to the site of an Australian Soldier and a British Merchant Seaman on Sunday before Anzac Day Starting at 10.30am at Camp Quaranup. Kapyong Day Memorial Service - 24th April will be held at St. John's Church York St. and War Memorial on corner of York St. & Peels Place, commencing 2.pm. This will be followed by afternoon tea at the RSL Club rooms. - Anzac Day Dawn Service 25th April - Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, Mount Clarence commencing at 5.30am. Anzac Day Parade and Memorial Service - Parade will start at 10.am on Stirling Terrace and finish at Memorial Park with the service starting at 10.40pm. The parade will be followed by a "Sausage Sizzle" at the RSL Clubrooms.

This Re-Enactment Regularity Event provides many motor sports enthusiasts an opportunity to participate, or be a spectator and be involved in a wonderful weekend of motor sports. There is something for every motor enthusiast of all ages - fun - thrills - spills. Hill Climb Mt. Clarence on Saturday while Stirling Terrace presents a Classic Festival. Round the Houses timed Trials in Albany CBD on Sunday. It is one of only two round the houses events still running
