Below will give you a good idea as to when are the best times for seeing the whales

1 Sep 05: Southern Right mother & calf near the entrance to Princess Royal Harbour.
26 Aug 05: Southern Rights seen near Middleton Beach today.
17 Aug 05: 6 Humpbacks (including a calf) in King George Sound., 2 whales seen by tourists this morning at Cable Beach, Albany.
16 Aug 05: Humpbacks spotted near Ledge Beach heading towards Middleton.
15 Aug 05: 1 Humpback near Breaksea Island.
14 Aug 05: 5 Humpbacks near Limestone Head.
12 Aug 05: Whales sighted near entrance to Princess Royal Harbour.
11 Aug 05: 12 Humpbacks sighted this afternoon in King George Sound!
10 Aug 05: Humpbacks near Limestone Head.
9 Aug 05: 6 Humpbacks heading towards Marine Drive.
8 Aug 05: 2 Humpbacks at Bald Head.
7 Aug 05: Pod of Humpbacks at Nanarup, some at Limestone Head, 1 Southern Right also spotted.
5 Aug 05: Pod of whales at Limestone Head.
4 Aug 05: 3 Humpbacks at Whale World.
3 Aug 05: 2 Humpbacks (mother & yearling) near Whale World, Frenchman Bay.
2 Aug 05: Whales sighted near Bald Head & Whale World.
30 July 05: 1 Humpback near Mistaken Island.
29 July 05: 2 whales in Princess Royal Harbour.
28 July 05: 2 Humpback near Breaksea Island & dolphins spotted also.
27 July 05: 2 Humpbacks near Breaksea Island.
24 July 05: 8 Humpbacks near the channel entrance today.
23 July 05: 6 Humpbacks near Michaelmas Island.
22 July 05: 6 Humpbacks near Limestone Head, 2 Southern Rights between the Islands.
20 July 05: Humpbacks spotted at Limestone Head.
19 July 05: 3 Humpbacks seen at Bald Head.
18 July 05: Mother Humpback & newborn at Limestone Head.
17 July 05: Humpback near Breaksea Island.
16 July 05: 1 Humpback west of Breaksea Island, 3 at Bald Head.
14 July 05: Whales seen from the land today at Marine Drive & Middleton Beach, unknown number at this stage.
12 July 05: 12 month old Humpback seen playing with Dolphins near Seal Rock, 2 more spotted in the distance near Whale World. Late afternoon there was a Humpback in Princess Royal Harbour.
11 July 05: 4 Humpbacks spotted at Goode Beach in the afternoon.
10 July 05: Afternoon - 10 Humpbacks at Limestone Head. Several more seen out to sea. 3 Humpbacks at Seal island.
Morning - reports of a Southern Right Cow & Calf in Princess Royal Harbour. 1 Humpback in Princess Royal Harbour, 3 at Seal Island. 1 Humpback near Whale World.
9 July 05: Afternoon - 3 Humpbacks between the Islands & 3 more traveling from Seal Island.<br>
Morning - 2 Humpbacks east of Michaelmas Island.
8 July 05: Several whales spotted near Nanarup Beach (east of Albany), waiting on more information from boats.
6 July 05: 8 Humpbacks spotted in King George Sound in total.
5 July 05: Whales seen north of Michaelmas Island from Marine Drive.
3 July 05: 4 Southern Rights at Herald Reef between Michaelmas Island & the mainland.
2 July 05: Whales spotted by divers at Gull Rock numbers unconfirmed.
30 June 05: 1 Southern Right seen at 0830 hours heading towards Middleton Beach.
29 June 05: 4 Southern Rights near Michaelmas Island & several Humpbacks spotted further out to sea.
28 June 05: 1 Southern Right near Michaelmas Island & 2 Humpbacks between Michaelmas & Bald Head.
26 June 05: Southern Right sighted at Nanarup & several whales in the ocean off Torndirrup N.P.
21 June 05: Our first Southern Right of the season & 2 Humpback whales spotted in King George Sound by whale watching boats & also visible from Marine Drive lookout.
20 June 05: 2 Humpbacks near Michaelmas Island in King George Sound.
21 June 05: 2 Humpbacks Michaelmas reef & 1 Southern Right whale @ channel markers
20 June 05: 2 humpbacks seen @ Michaelmas reef
18 June 05: 8 Humpbacks seen fron Goode Beach
17 June 05: 2 Humpbacks @ Limestone Head
15 June 05: 2 Humpbacks @ Seal Island
21 May 05: Blue whale sighted in King George Sound & 1 Humpback.

Remember:
If whales are diving for prolonged periods or swimming evasively, you are disturbing and upsetting them. Leave them alone. It is an offence to harass whales, and they may permanently abandon an area if continually disturbed.
